Services provided by the Department of Public Works include; roadway construction and paving, bulk trash pick-up, snow plowing of Township roads, maintenance & construction at Manchester's lakes, parks &  playgrounds,  leaf & brush pick-up, storm sewer maintenance & construction, and operation of the Township landfill & recycling center, with household recycling collection program, along with water and sewer service on the eastern side of the township.  The Department also performs maintenance & custodial services for all Township buildings, and repair & maintenance of the Township’s automotive fleet.
