We, as Manchester Township Police Officers, constantly
strive to perform with the highest possible standards in professional
policing. As law enforcement officers, we endeavor to serve all people within
our jurisdiction equally with courtesy, consideration, fairness and dignity.
Our philosophy of public service is: to prevent crime, to protect the
innocent, to ensure the rights of all to liberty, equality and justice, to
enforce laws and ordinances , and to uphold the Constitution. With service to the
community as our foundation, we as police officers are compelled by purpose
to enhance the quality of existence, and investigate problems as well as occurrences.
Subsequently, we strive for solutions and a sense of security and privacy in
our community. Public trust is nurtured and cultivated by asserting ourselves
with the highest standards of performance and ethics. Our mission as the
Manchester Township Police Department, will be to exemplify a high level of
knowledge and competence for our officers through effective training and
leadership. The Manchester Township Police Department will develop a
